About our training
My training approach is built on positive reinforcement and designed to create a fun and fair relationship with clear and consistent boundaries between you and your dog.
Each program is tailored to the needs of the dog, owner, and environment they reside in. All dogs will return home freshly bathed, brushed, and with their ears cleaned / nails trimmed.
All training packages include transportation, a training lesson upon return, follow-up lesson(s) and all necessary training equipment. I am available for any questions/concerns that may arise after the return. See packages below for more details.
Transportation Services
Transportation services are available every day of the week. Your pup will be picked-up/returned to your door. I will reach out to you the day before with a two hour time-window of arrival. For NYC Residents your dog must be brought out to the driver.
Services are available to the Hudson Valley and Tri-State area including, NYC, Brooklyn, Bronx, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Connecticut, and New Jersey and more..) Please call for pricing and more details.
Transportation is included in all training packages. Will travel to Long Island/Hamptons for training packages.
Our Training Programs
Puppy Training
Puppies go through a critical period of development which ends at around 16 weeks. The goal of my training program is to get you and your puppy off to a great start. I will focus on establishing a housebreaking routine, accepting handling, socialization and teach in basic obedience commands.
Basic Obedience Traning
This is an entry level program for dogs that are already housebroken. All the behaviors will be taught on leash. At the end of the program your pup will have mastered all of the basic obedience commands. Click link below to view the full command list.
Intermediate Obedience Traning
The Intermediate Training package is a 2 week board and train program designed for dogs that have completed the Basic Obedience Program or have mastered the basic obedience commands on leash. In this program, all the basic commands are advanced with distractions added in. We begin Off-Leash training and teach in additional commands. Clink the link below to view the full command list.
Advanced Obedience Traning
The Advanced Training package is a 2 week board and train program designed for dogs that have completed the Intermediate Obedience Program or have mastered all the commands at that level. In this program all the intermediate commands are advanced to off-leash with distractions.
Specialized Training
These training programs are designed for dogs that are having specific behavioral problems including resource-guarding, fear-aggression, multi-dog households, and more.
Private Training
At home lessons where we work closely together to train in desired behaviors with your dog. I will access your environment and dog’s behaviors to create a training plan tailored to you and your dog’s needs. You will reinforce the training between sessions and advance your pup to the next stages.
